The Old Fashioned Tire Swing is the perfect Tree Swing for children ages 4 through 12. The Tire Swing's base is made from a hand-cleaned recycled tire, and it has a removable wooden seat with rope stabilizers on either side.

The Recycled Tire Swing rope is hand-spliced and comes with 20 feet of 5/8" Polypropylene rope. The rope is made with a special 100% Polypropylene film yarn that never gets rough or splintery-like. Instead, the more it is used the softer it is on your hands. In addition, it holds knots better. The rope is treated with UV which protects it from the sun and it is 100% waterproof.
The strap in the kit protects your tree and make hanging a tree swing easier. Included in the hanging kit are 1 Screw Lock Snap Hooks (to fasten rope too) and 1 woven strap with a loop in each end.
The workload on the Recycled Tire Tree Swing rope is 350 lbs, the breaking strength is 3780 lbs. Hanging kit strap includes a Screw Lock Snap Hook and holds up to 5000 lbs of weight. The corners and edges of all wooden components are sanded and rounded to prevent any unsafe sharp edges.
